AsiaDHRRA and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) visited the Matulatula Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative (MarCCO) on June 24, 2025, in Pola, Oriental Mindoro.  Led by the Smallholder Economic Empowerment through Digital Solutions (SEEDS) project team, Ms. Karmela Trillanes and Mr. Aaron Balatucan, the visit is part of IFAD’s Supervision and Implementation Support (SIS) mission on the partner farmers’ organization’s recent project update, accomplishments, and support provided by AsiaDHRRA.

MarCCO’s General Manager, Ms. Christie Marasigan, and her administrative, financial, and operations team accommodated IFAD’s Mr. Sangho Park, including a farm visit and interview with farmers engaged in digital tools applications. The visit allowed MarCCO to present SEED’s updates, stories, insights into the project’s impact on member cooperatives, and a brief tour of its citrus production plant.

SEEDS is funded by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) through IFAD and has been implemented in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
