AsiaDHRRA and the Kaanib Foundation Inc. paid a courtesy visit to the office of the municipal Mayor of San Fernando, Bukidnon, on April 30, 2025, and were welcomed by Alvin Dumangsil, manager of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO). The brief discussion revolved around the recent RISE-Up project on Eliminating Child Labor (ECL) in Agriculture and the involvement of two farmers’ organizations (FOs), namely Lugawon and San Jose Bahani Association.

The visit was followed by a community livelihood roll-out organized and participated in mainly by Young Rural Youth Organizations (YRYO) from the Lugawon River Farmers Association (LRFA). The event, hosted by the YRYO, highlighted topics on child labor awareness and the existing laws protecting children at the national and global levels.
