The Cambodian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (CamboDHRRA) organized the “Women in Agribusiness Roadmap Design Workshop” on 12–13 May 2025 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The two-day strategic dialogue event was praised as a decisive step for women in agribusiness. It was joined by the Women in Agribusiness Network (WAN), a passionate group committed to transforming and advancing women’s leadership in Cambodia’s agrifood system.
The workshop has served as a platform for the participants to reflect on WAN’s activities and accomplishments and identify the challenges and opportunities in market access, governance, policies, and innovation. Additionally, an extensive framework of implementation plans with strategic goals, pillars, and actionable steps was designed supported by a monitoring and evaluation system will help enhance the network’s targeted impact further.
Lastly, the gathering was a significant event of collaboration, envisioning, and empowerment for WAN’s direction towards 2030 as a strong, inclusive, and sustainable women-led agribusiness network across Cambodia.
