AsiaDHRRA has brokered a clear and better understanding of agroecology (AE) advocacy through networking, partnerships, and platform engagement in the region.
In 2022, AsiaDHRRA co-organized regional consultations promoting AE to educational institutions and public spending on transitions to AE and agroecological practices.
In addition, AsiaDHRRA organized an e-learning exchange on Rural Development and Transitions (ALERT), which was participated partners in the network namely, the DHRRAs, farmers’ organizations and development partners.
Furthermore, AsiaDHRRA has joined regional dialogues, forums, and coalitions advocating AE and partnered with the FAO and ASSET – Agroecology Safe Food System Transitions, to scale up Agrifood Systems Transformation through AE.
In 2024, AsiaDHRRA, through its partner DHRRAs in the network, recently organized national consultations to promote AE in the context of ASEAN in Cambodia, Lao PDR, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
