CamboDHRRA organized its 4th General Assembly

The Cambodian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (CamboDHRRA) successfully conducted its 4th General Assembly on February 4. 2025, at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh.  The event served as a crucial platform for members and partners to reflect, strategize, and collaborate. It was attended by 30 participants from its Board of Directors, member organizations, CSOs, private sector representatives, international partners, and AsiaDHRRA.

The gathering started with a welcome remark from Mr. Him Noeun, Secretary General, opening remarks from its Chairperson, Mr. Neth Sovann, and keynote remarks from AsiaDHRRA’s Secretary General, Ms. Marlene Ramirez.

The event similarly reviewed the organization’s achievements, challenges, and lessons learned in 2024, including its programmatic and financial aspects.

  • Assess and reflect on CamboDHRRA’s progress, ensuring alignment with Cambodia’s agricultural goals and rural development priorities.
  • Discuss and consolidate the 2025 Annual Action Plan, identifying opportunities for collaboration to strengthen market-driven agriculture value chains.
  • Enhance partnerships and engagement, fostering stronger multi-stakeholder cooperation in sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and digital transformation.

 

CamboDHRRA presented its program’s impact and steered an engaging session to elect a new deputy chairperson to reinforce strong leadership within the network. Members, partners, and stakeholders have contributed their invaluable and tireless commitment to empowering farmers, strengthening agribusiness partnerships, and driving positive change for Cambodia’s resilient and sustainable agricultural sector.
