In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture (DA), AsiaDHRRAparticipated in the Training and Consultation Workshop on Data Governance, Standardization, and Digitalization for Inclusive and Evidence-Based Agriculture Planning held at Savannah Hotel in Clark, Pampanga.

The workshop convened stakeholders from various institutions to discuss the importance of strengthening agricultural data systems and promoting data-driven governance to support more effective agriculture planning and policy development.
During the sessions, the Rice Data Analytics Center (RDAC) presented ongoing initiatives and insights on centralized and harmonized agricultural data systems. Discussions emphasized the need for more granular and localized agricultural data to improve planning, monitoring, forecasting, and decision-making processes within the agriculture sector.
Participants also explored key topics such as interoperability across digital systems, responsible data governance, and the role of analytics and digitalization in delivering more responsive agricultural interventions and services for farmers and rural communities.
The workshop further highlighted continuing efforts toward building an integrated agricultural data ecosystem
that can support evidence-based governance and inclusive agricultural development across the sector.
AsiaDHRRA’s participation reflects its continuing commitment to supporting collaborative initiatives that advance digital transformation and strengthen evidence-based approaches for rural and agricultural development.
