The Cambodian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (CamboDHRRA), in partnership with OREDA (Occupation of Rural Economic Development and Agriculture) and KADRA (Khmer Angka for Development of Rural Areas), recently conducted a comprehensive survey of 298 farming households in Kampot, Svay Rieng, and Prey Veng provinces.
The study is part of an agriculture and food security program that aims to improve rural incomes, promote sustainable and diverse farm production, and support farmers’ market access and value chains, including women’s economic resilience.

Provincial farmers and community leaders participated in the research, which will help support the next stage of empowering Community Agricultural Business Advisors (CaBas), savings groups, and farming networks to effectively respond to local needs while bridging connections between producers, traders, and consumers.
