AsiaDHRRA, in coordination with Kaanib Foundation Inc. and Community Organizers Multiversity (COM), conducted a training on Youth Leadership and Facilitation to Young Rural Youth Organization (YRYO) leaders and beneficiaries of the RISE-UP Project, implemented in the provinces of Bukidnon, Davao del Norte, and Maguindanao del Sur.  The workshop’s theme, “Kabataang May Tinig, May Gawa: Namumuno, Nagtuturo, Nagpapalaya sa Kinabukasan,” was joined by 32 YRYO participants and conducted from June 9-10, 2025, in Manaklay, Mabini, Davao de Oro.

The event aimed to strengthen youth leadership, communication, and facilitation skills to effectively manage their organizations, support child labor awareness, raise the campaign roll-out, and continuously advance the elimination of child labor (ECL) in the agriculture sector.  RISE-UP Project is an EU-funded initiative on “Harnessing CSO Capacities for Eliminating Child Labour (ECL) Action through Multistakeholder Partnerships and Agri-entrepreneurship”.
