AsiaDHRRA, a service provider for the project “Strengthening the Implementation of Regional and Local Peace and Development Agendas” (SPADe), conducts a culminating workshop on Gender and Conflict-Sensitive and Climate-Smart Investment and Investment Promotion Planning (GAIIPP) from June 25-28, 2025, in Davao City.  The gathering serves as a space for the trained Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs) of Mindanao to present their draft investment plans after a series of workshops and mentoring conducted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and AsiaDHRRA in 2024.

The presentation of draft plans is focused on the PLGU outputs on the provincial agriculture investment plan and the promotion plan of the said investment, with priorities on the respective commodities of each province.  Consequently, the project management team will advise on preparing the pitch for the drafts to be included in the priority agenda of newly elected officials for inclusion in the Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) process and Annual Investment Planning processes in the province.

SPADe is a collaboration program by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), with the support of the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the GIZ.
