AsiaDHRRA organized its 44th Executive Meeting and Strategic Action Planning (SAP) on September 8-9, 2025, in Quezon City, Philippines. It was joined by members of the executive committee and the secretariat’s administrative, finance, and program managers. The meeting assessed the organization’s strategic directions and reviewed regional development contexts aligned with the rural communities’ recent challenges, opportunities, and growing priorities.

The two-day workshop served as a process to present and review program updates, resource mobilization, operations, the theory of change, and a way forward aligned to the agreed timeline, budget, and accountabilities. In addition, internal and external scanning results were presented for discussion and to gather inputs to support the refinement of the drafted SAP analysis.

Facilitated and guided by strategic consultant Ms. Angelita Gregorio-Medel, the event collaboratively examined and analyzed the network’s capacities, external environment, and long-term goals in shaping its next five-year strategy framework that reflects regional realities. Furthermore, the gathering has identified the importance of collective effort among governance and program management in realizing AsiaDHRRA’s objectives to strengthen its partnership with rural development stakeholders.
