AsiaDHRRA’s Senior Program Managers, Mr. Florante Villas and Mr. Cezar Belangel, Organizational Development Consultant, Ms. Arlynn Contreras, facilitated an assessment with the Impalutao Dalwangan Sawaga Agrarian Reform Cooperative (IMDALSA) in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, on 6-8 March 2024.  The cooperative is a member of the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), with 14 million assets, and is involved in producing and marketing coffee.  The cooperative is currently in a “forming” stage, provides credit services to its members, and struggles to mobilize resources needed for capitalization, market deals, supply-base and operational development, and management capacity.

Its board members and management team participated in the discussion, which discussed the situation’s challenges, potentials, and improvements in organization, social relations, governance, operations, and finance.
